Pre-Columbian Sacred
2010, 11 x 17 x 2 in.
one-of-a-kind altered book

Created for "Information Revisited: The Encyclopedia Britannica Project" at the Martin Hicks Gallery, Belskie Museum of Art, June 2010.

This work was inspired by the first and last articles of Volume 26 which was assigned to me. "Pre-Columbian Sacred" is printed on the spine and made for a readymade title. Digging into the text block was an excavation which revealed a pyramid that had been hidden, perhaps for centuries.
