This work springs from similar sources as "Are We Ready Yet?" in that it addresses issues of politics from a personal perspective. Generally it deals with issues of identity, of being a gay man as well as a working artist in the USA. A tidbit from my research for Saints & Sinners (the book) may sum it up the best: "Searching with Bible on the Web.com, 'hate' was found 190 times in 179 verses, while 'compassion' was found only 43 times in 41 verses."
